Day 2: Auckland

The adventure starts this morning by leaping off Auckland’s tallest building, the Sky Tower!

Sky Tower, Sky Jump!

Leap off Auckland’s famous Sky Tower – 192 metres straight down.  Sky Jump is one of New Zealand’s most thrilling tourist attractions and one of Auckland city’s ‘don’t miss’ experiences.  Sky Jump can be described as Base Jumping while attached to a wire – just like a movie stuntman.  You’ll fall very fast (approximately (85kph) for around 11 seconds, and then come to a very smooth landing in the plaza below….give the observers of the sky deck a wave on the way past!

As Auckland is famously known as ‘The City of Sails’, no trip is complete without getting on the water.  Once holders of the America’s Cup, try your hand at sailing a real America’s Cup yacht.

America’s Cup Sailing

Join us for an unforgettable two hours sailing. A unique opportunity to participate as crew on an actual America’s Cup yacht. Take the helm, exert energy on the grinders or simply sit back and enjoy the ride as we sail the beautiful Waitemata Harbour.  Two hour sailing experience includes participate as crew or sit back and relax.  The America’s Cup is the world’s oldest and most prestigious sporting trophy and ultimate yachting regatta. Usually the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachties, NZL 40 and NZL 41 offer the unique opportunity for everyone to participate sailing on these grand prix racing machines.

Accommodation: The Heritage Auckland, Superior Room
