If you're after wild escapades and spine-tingling activities this is the place to find them. Queenstown is not known as the Adventure Capital of the World for nothing. Skydiving, bungee jumping, hang-gliding, jet boating and rafting are just some of the adrenalin packed extreme sports on offer. And of course, the surrounding snow covered mountains provide a winter wonderland for ski or snowboarding enthusiasts from all around the world. The main fields in Queenstown are The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. Both of these fields offer world class facilities for skiers and boarders, with Coronet Peak offering New Zealand’s only night time skiing experience.
