This New Zealand family owned and hosted Lodge situated on the shores of Lake Rotorua, is set in one acre of mature gardens 5 minutes from the city, 15 minutes to the Rotorua airport, and a 2.5 hour drive from Auckland.

There are eight luxuriously appointed super king or twin ensuite rooms, elegantly furnished with rich creams and gold, crisp pure cotton bed linen and feather duvets. Each room has tea & coffee facilities, freshly baked biscuits, fresh fruit, and garden flowers. The marble bathrooms are fully equipped with heated towel rails, bath robes and all amenities. Each room is named after one of the surrounding lakes and has either lake or garden views.

Only the finest NZ produce is prepared by the resident chefs accompanied by Boutique N.Z. Wines.

Activities within 10 minutes of the Lodge include; Lake and Fly Fishing, Golf, Maori Culture, Thermal Activity and Bush Walks.

Hosts Margaret and Tony Seavill, both New Zealanders, spent years searching for their ultimate location before finding the lodge sited amidst rose gardens and lawns with its magnificent views over Lake Rotorua. The love and attention to detail they have lavished on Kawaha Point Lodge is evident in every aspect, carefully chosen furnishings and artwork in the rooms creating an air of calm and serenity, to the menus especially created by resident Michelin-trained chef, Silvio Sakrzewski.
