Knapdale is a tranquil utopia, only 10 minutes from Gisborne airport and yet a world apart from urban living. Relax and enjoy superb food which is mostly grown in the Lodge’s own garden. Go for a leisurely stroll around the lake or through the well tracked forest. Feed the animals or pick some oranges for your freshly squeezed breakfast juice. Listen to the birds and look out over a stunning landscape while enjoying award winning Gisborne wines.

Knapdale has two different guest rooms. The Romance Room a spacious room with king sized bed and ensuite, luxurious spa bath and private balcony with unsurpassed views over the Knapdale Farm and the wider landscape. The Deluxe Guest Room also has a kingsized bed, private bathroom and internet facilities with fantastic views of the Knapdale Forest and lake.

Guests can partake in the harvesting and production of the organically grown food. Taste the freshness of the exquisitely prepared food - directly from the garden. The Lodge has a particular focus on environmental sustainability, organic produce and offering the chance for families to experience something different, whilst staying in comfort.
